Designed to parallel the AP Physics course offered at high schools via the AP College Board, students will be exposed to both the conceptual and the practical aspects of a college-level physics class through interactive lectures and engaging laboratory sessions that allow students to put concepts to the test. Both mechanics and electricity/magnetism will be covered, with an emphasis on AP-specific problem solving skills and real-world applications in industry, research, and engineering. The course is divided into two parts: mechanics (June to early July) and electricity / magnetism (August) with a brief break in between.
