Avery graduated from UC Davis in 2016 with a B.S. in Evolution, Ecology and Biodiversity and minors in English and Oceanography. He has worked at UC Davis' Bodega Marine Laboratory and aboard the E/V Nautilus, and he has spent a year in Japan teaching high school English. He is very excited to share his passion for biology with his students.
