Maximize your future.

College Counsulting Program

Stand out from the pack. Maximize your potential.

Many people think that high GPA and test scores get students into top schools, while low GPA or test scores mean they have no chance... This is wrong!

Especially in the Bay Area, many students with perfect scores are rejected by all top 10 schools because they are not distinctive. Meanwhile, students with lower scores are often admitted.

How can students maximize their chances? By being unique. Our experts will help them stand out from the competition. Each year, top universities are becoming harder to get into. Do not navigate this difficult process alone: we will walk you through this difficult process.
We offer programs for rising seniors (high school class of 2020) for the 2019-2020 application cycle. We also offer services for rising 9th-11th graders. Please see below for details.

We offer 2 distinct services for our students, designed to be flexible to best suit your student's needs without making you pay for unnecessary services. Please contact us at college.advisor@fremontstem.com with questions.

Rising 9-11 grade

Early Start College Counseling:

Incoming 9th-10th grade students

“It’s great to understand what goes into the college application and focus on areas relevant in the early part of high school without stressing out over it…”

It is often confusing for incoming 8th-10th grade students to choose what classes to take, clubs to join (or start!), volunteering opportunities to participate in, extracurricular activities to spend time on, internships or research opportunities to pursue — all this on top of maintaining good grades and studying for the SAT/ACT. The competition is very strong. How can your student stand out and maximize his or her potential?
Fremont STEM’s Early Start College Counseling Program is designed to prepare for the college applications without the stress that usually goes with it.  The student and the family not only get a complete understanding of the application components and process, but also start aligning the academics and activities with that process.
We recognize that each student is different and each family's needs are different. Thus, we offer great flexibility in consulting 8th-10th grade students. We are able to create a personalized plan based on your needs. Please click the button to schedule a consultation or to learn how we can help.
A balanced set of activities not only helps you develop and show your passion, but also can become cornerstone of your essays.  While it may be too early to write essays, this is the time to explore and chart out your path to great essays.

Why we're unique

Why Choose Us?

  • Customizable plan: we offer flexibility in scheduling meetings to fit the pace and workflow of your student.

    • Other companies that are larger or have more students force students into pre-determined schedules, such as meetings every two weeks or so. This decreases the cost efficacy of meetings, since some essays and tasks require longer time to complete than others. Our flexibility means your student's time is never wasted and his or her potential is maximized. It also means you get the most results for your money.

  • Individualized student focus: we ensure your student receives our undivided attention and personalized recommendations.

    • Other companies overload their consultants with too many students, so students receive standardized, generic advice and consultants take too long to respond to student questions. We deliberately keep our program small in order to truly focus on each individual students.

  • Research opportunities

    • One key aspect of our program for 9th-11th grade students is the integration of our college consulting program and ASDRP. Our students will be able to participate in ASDRP to gain real science research experience. They will learn how to read scientific publications, email research principal investigators, and write/present scientific findings. Our consultants, who have technical backgrounds, will help these students find scientific research opportunities in academia for the following summer(s), and help students frame these significant scientific experiences in their college application.

  • Up to date: our consultants have recently gone through the admissions process. We have recent, firsthand experience with applications, which is highly important. We know what your student is going through.

    • Other companies often hire consultants who do not have recent firsthand experience, so their knowledge may be outdated.

  • Affordable Cost: our packages are provided at affordable rates. We are confident we offer the best services relative to the price.

Beat the competition.

We'll show you how.
