Kavya graduated from UC San Diego with a BS in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. She enjoys working with students and was actively involved in several mentoring and tutoring programs during college. She has conducted and presented research regarding underlying mechanisms of skeletal muscle myopathies. Currently, she works with family medicine physicians as part of the COMET fellowship at Stanford University and aspires to become a primary care physician. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering and swimming.
