With over thirty years' experience in high-technology, Robert (Rob) has in-depth experience in all aspects of product technology, possesses deep business insight, and has a record of creating successful products in communications and client-server applications. Rob has made significant contributions to the bottom lines of startups, consumer, smallto-medium businesses and enterprise organizations, including Blade Network Technologies, HP/IBM, and NEC. In addition, he has worked with such leading-edge companies as Cisco, 3Com and IBM, in technology, product management and business development roles, with emphases in processors, networking, software products and architecture. Rob received his start in the industry from the International Business Machines Corporation, as a marketing engineer then as business development manager. Robert has authored technical publications such as: "Frame Relay + MPLS" and "A comparison of basic Frame Relay and IP VPN End-User Security" white papers and articles for Industry media, with several patents to his credit. Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Administration from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, Illinois. In addition, Robert served on numerous industry forums, boards and panels. Outside the office, Robert enjoys amateur astronomy and cosmology (The search for the underlying principles of the Universe).
