Research Students Present at Fremont Youth STEM Research Symposium & Expo

This weekend, nearly a hundred research students presented their research at the 2018 Fremont Youth STEM Research Symposium & Expo, featuring nearly thirty posters and over a dozen oral presentations. Several hundred visitors from the community and from around the Bay gathered in Warm Springs to celebrate a successful summer of research. Featuring an opening keynote address by Dr. Sonia F. Khan, and a closing address by Dr. Yang Shao.

I read the post about Fremont students presenting at the Youth STEM Research Symposium Expo, and it was inspiring to see young learners share their science and tech projects with confidence and curiosity. Seeing their hard work on display reminded me how rewarding it feels to prepare and then celebrate what you’ve learned. Once when I was buried in schoolwork, I even used online marketing exam-taking services just to make room for a big presentation, and that made me realize that good support and effort can help us shine in big moments too.
